I cannot believe that it has been so long since my last post. No wonder no one ever follows my blog, I'm such a terrible blogger. I'll try to do better and blog more often.
First off there is no way I can back track almost a year and catch everyone up on my life so I'm not even gonna try. I will back up and share some highlights of our year with all those who might still stop by. I guess the first highlight was Anna Claire's first Christmas. It was fun! She doesn't remember it and I'm sure she will not remember much about Christmas this year either, but it was fun seeing her eyes light up with the sight of all the decorated trees and all the lights everywhere. I'm sure this year will be even more fun for her and us as well as she is now older and will really enjoy all that Christmas has to offer.
Then came January, the month that both of my children were born, howbeit 8 years apart! We celebrated Paydon's 9th birthday the first part of the month with a party at Pizza Hut. I learned a few years ago that with Pizza Huts pizza deals I can feed everyone pizza and be just a cheap as if I bought the stuff for hot dogs and such and the clean up is a breeze, we tip the waitress and leave and they clean up the mess---for someone his age it couldn't be better! On the 23rd of January we were not able to have Anna Claire's b-day party, which was her actual birthday, do to everyone having a conflict in their schedules, we did however have out pastor and his wife over for cupcakes and chili, I think, and Anna Claire enjoyed feeding herself a pink cupcake. She really got into it! Oh if I was only at home and could add in some pictures of her enjoying it, you'd all laugh! She had icing up her nose, gross I know, but so cute on a 1 year old!
Then came the spring, nothing I can remember there except at 15 months Miss Anna Claire finally decided it was time to take those oh so cute first steps. I jokingly called her my lazy kid because she was much later in crawling and walking that Paydon, but the her pediatrician brought a point up at her twelve month check-up with these simple words, "I wouldn't walk either is someone would carry me." Ok doc point taken, she started walking at almost 15 months. Then the fun began! She gets into everything from the toilet to the bookshelf, something Paydon never did. She is also way too smart for her age. Shortly after learning to walk she also learned that from my chair in the living room I could see her if she went into our front bathroom and soon also learned if she went to the bathroom in our room that I could not see her. She had found Paydon's battery operated Pound Puppy and decided it needed a dunk in the toilet, then when she picked it up it got her wet so she thought it had pee'd on her and she proceeded to carry it to the door and in this gibberish that no one understood began to get on to the puppy for peeing on her. Shortly after that we started shutting every bathroom door and making sure all toilet lids were down! No more giving things baths in the toilet for her!
Well now I'm on to Summer. We've had one hot summer! It has just been terrible around here, 110 one week and the heat index above that, then the humidity and it was just a nasty sticky Summer. Some good did come out of it all though. June 26th Josh and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary. We took a little mini-vacation to Little Rock the 24th and stayed at the Robinwood B&B, www.robinwodbnb.com and it was absolutely wonderful. We had the best time even though we left the kids with relatives and I missed them, Josh and I needed to time for us! Summer drudged on and then in August right before school started my wonderful boss sent us to Branson for vacation for the kids and we enjoyed that as well. We went to see the Noah musical and it was wonderful. If you ever have a chance to see any of the biblical shows at any of the Sight and Sounds Theaters I highly recommend it! It's a little pricey, but well worth it! The very next week school started and my little man entered the 4th grade!
I guess that pretty much brings everything up to date. We are all doing good and just staying very busy! Hopefully I'll blog more--no promises though!

Is it Chrsitmas Already??
Well we all know the answer to that question--Yes Christmas is here.
I guess I'll back track a little here--we had a great Thanksgiving. Anna Claire had her 9 month (she was actually 10 months) check up on November 23 and she was in the 50th percentile for height and weight. She also got a flu shot, which she actually did great with--not even one single tear. She is getting around pretty good now--she isn't crawling much, but she can sure scoot where she wants to go.
After Thanksgiving our office went on Vacation to Branson. We had a great time and really enjoyed it. Friday night we went to Dixie Stampede and it was actually very, very good. We have seen the show before, but never the Christmas show, but it was well worth the money and Anna Claire LOVED it! On Saturday we went to Silver Dollar City and about froze to death and it was much to crowded for me and Paydon didn't enjoy it either because there were way too many people trying to get around it just wasn't enjoyable at all. We did manage to see one show while there and it was a 20 minute Frosty the Snowman show, but Paydon liked it--Anna Claire slept thru it, so I guess she enjoyed it too. Sunday we headed back home, but stopped on the way at Springfield for Paydon to look around at all the animals at the Bass Pro shop there--it is huge! Paydon really enjoyed it. We then got back on the road headed home, well we thought it was the road to home, it was actually the road north and we do not live north of Springfield we live southeast of it, so after about 35 minutes we realized we missed our turn back toward home, so we spent about 35 minutes backtracking, but finally got on the correct road home. We had a very enjoyable trip, very relaxed, we really needed it too.
In other news the kiddos are both doing well. Paydon is doing well in school and Anna Claire is doing well at eating, and eating, and sleeping. She jabbers up a storm now. She will try to say Ho, Ho, Ho, but it comes out with just the "H", it is so cute though. She is growing up so fast, she'll soon be 1 year old--it is very hard to believe that time has flown by so very fast, but it has. My babies are growing up. Paydon will be 9 January 4th and that doesn't seem possible either but it is. He'll enter the 4th grade next year, *tear* I can't believe it!!
Well since it is so close to Christmas, I guess I'd better go ahead and wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! Jesus is the reason for the season! Let us never forget the First Gift of Christmas--Jesus!
MERRY CHRISTMAS FOLKS!

Hello
Just wanted to take a few moments and say hello to everyone out in blog land. Life has been great around here. Anna Claire has had a few little things we have had to deal with, thrush, colds, and the such, but she is doing better. She was doing great at sleeping thru the night, but for some reason she has recently been getting up about every 3 hours. Then if I put her into our bed she sure doesn't sleep well. So just pray she gets back to her schedule soon, because it is making me very tired.
We are also in revival with Sis. Betty Bishop this week and we had a wonderful service yesterday--the Lord really poured out his blessings on us! God is great and Greatly to be Praised. He has already do so much for me that I'll never be able to repay Him, but as the song says "Here Lord I give myself away tis all that I can do"! If you are in the area we would love to have you come out to revival--7pm 403 W Peck Road Harrisburg, AR. If you can't make it please be in prayer for each service and that God's anointing fall upon each part of the service and upon our hearts throughout the week that we could move up in the Lord.

Where has the time gone?
Boy it has been so long time since I have posted anything. Well we just got back from our annual General Assembly of The Church of God and had a great time in the Lord! SO much has happened that I'm sure I can't pick it all back up, but I'll try to do better. I'm now into FB so check me out there if you want. Have a great day!
