I'm such a terrible blogger, I'm just so very, very busy. So in case anyone is wondering what we've been up too I'll fill you in. Both my children have had birthdays since my last post making my little man 10 and my little angel 2, yep she's two and boy has she entered the terrible two's. I don't remember my little man being this way, but my little angel is very hard headed and very independent. She thinks she can do EVERYTHING by herself and as other moms out there know--she can't! Yep my angel is 2 going on 22. She can be so sweet though, I just love to look into her eyes at night while I hold her and wait for her to fall asleep in my arms and it's so sweet when she looks up with those beautiful eyes and says "love you mommy". Just melts my heart. Then there are times when she makes us laugh, well I'm sure we laugh at her at least once a day--she loves to sing and praise the Lord. Our pastor often says that we could all learn a lesson from her praise to the Lord. She doesn't understand it yet, but she loves to sing praises unto God. My prayer for both my children is that they know God early and form that personal relationship with Him. I want them to realize early that there is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun. I want God to use them however He sees fit and want Him to give me the strength to be able to handle their calling, which may call them across the sea! My little man isn't such a little man anymore. He is getting closer and closer to those teenage years---sigh---I sure hate to see him grow up, but it is inevitable, he's gonna grow up, I can't keep him 10 forever.
Well Christmas is gone and Spring has sprung and everything is getting green and beautiful again. I just love to see all the easter lillies or butter cups as some call them springing up everywhere. I guess that is my favorite little flower besides the yellow rose. I just love spring. The weather isn't too hot (most of the time) and I just love it. This is my sons spring break week and tomorrow I'm off work to spend the day with the kiddos and I can't wait. I hope it's pretty, I want to get outside and enjoy the day.
In other news we are in revival with Bro. Brian O'dell and praise the Lord, God has given him some very great timley messages that have spoken to my heart in so many ways. So far for me last night was the best message about "he built a fence" he preached about the importance of the Advice to Members and all I can say is Thank God for the Fence!!! Well I guess that's enough for now. God Bless each and every one of you!

PICTURES

Thought I'd share some updated pictures of the family.

Well that's about all I have for today! Do you know that God moved and worked and she never really even asked about me?! She was even in bed on Friday night about two hours earlier than normal! I Praise God for that!

Praise God for a wonderful ladies retreat! I had such a wonderful time in the Lord and enjoyed the wonderful fellowship so very much. God is so good to me that I'll never be able to tell all that He has done for me, but please know that we serve a great big God! Our Ladies Retreat theme was "Committed to Service". Everything from open to close went with being TOTALLY committed to God! A total commitment is what is required from us. Sis. Tammi Adams was my TAPS (talk and prayer session) leader and I so appreciate everything that God gave her, she may have been out of her comfort zone, but she still allowed God to use her to minister to those of us who were lucky enough to be in her group. She talked about how if you go to the bank to cash a check, you must have the whole check. The bank will not cash a check if you only give them part of it, part of a check is of no value. Much the same, God desires all of us and only a partial commitment will have no eternal value. God has taught me several things throughout this weekend and I can't really explain it all, but God is doing a work in me and I'm thankful for that. My desire is to be totally committed to Christ and His Church and to move closer and closer to God, I want to live for him and if need be I want to be willing to die for Him. I want nothing between my soul and the savior!

The fellowship is always wonderful around Gods people! I can truly say that laughter doth good like a medicine. Those of us at Ladies Retreat truly got an overdose on laughter. Many laughed till it hurt to laugh, but laughed some more. Sis. Janet Talley was our guest speaker and she shared so many things, some that made me laugh and just as many that made me stop and examine myself and at times cry! I want to worship the Lord not WARship the Lord and I want to do in spirit and in truth. I don't want to fail the Lord and if I'm totally committed to Him I will not! One thing that sticks out is the little story Sis. Tammi put in our Journal's that she gave each of us in her TAPS group and I'll share it with you and pray that it blesses you as it blessed me.

A chicken and a pig were walking down

the road together. They passed a sign for

a local diner advertising its breakfast

special: "Ham and Eggs--$2.95!" I leave in about 15 minutes and am pretty excited and praying for a great out pouring from the Lord! Sis. Janet Talley is out guest speaker so I'm sure with the help of the Holy Ghost she will feed our souls just what the doctor, I mean just what God ordered. Looking forward to it, however, not so much looking forward to leaving the kids behind. I'm sure it's gonna be a rough night for Josh with Anna Claire, but hopefully she will adjust just fine and make it thru the weekend without her momma. Please pray she does well! Also while your on your knees, please pray for Paydon. He's had a sore throat for about 3 days now and just all in all feel yucky, and I know that God can heal him and want to depend upon him. He's only running a low grade fever 100.5 or less so I'm not too concerned about strep throat, but who knows. I know God can supply all our needs and I need Paydon to be well!

Well I'm gonna go, just wanted to post while I had a minute hope you all have a great weekend. It's sure to be a great one weather wise around here, fall is finally at our doorstep and I can't wait for those nice autumn nights.

God Bless you all!

The Weekend

Well what did we do this weekend. Hmmm, I remember Josh letting me sleep late Saturday which was a great blessing! I got to sleep till about 10am and Anna Claire even slept in too! We had a good lazy Saturday. The kids and I hung out at the house most of the day and they played and played. They love the weekends when they can finally be at home and play with their toys and just relax and I love getting to spend uninterrupted time with them. Makes one happy momma! We had revival service that night and Bro. Don Pate preached a really good message and then we all got together for some good fellowship. I love fellowship with Gods people, makes me so happy, however, we also stay up way too late which makes for a rough Sunday morning on us all, but always such a blessing! Then Sunday morning and evening service was again a great message by Bro. Pate. I just love revivals! Not only the refreshing we get from God, but getting to know people better. You see people at the Assembly and at Conventions, but you hardly ever get to really know them. Revival's let you do just that, get to know people. You find out that people aren't always as they seem and it brings on a new realization that you truly can't judge a book by it's cover. We so enjoyed getting to know Bro. Pate better and look forward to seeing him at upcoming conventions and retreats!

Now onto my Anna Claire Story! Sunday night Josh took Anna Claire outside while he let the dog out and she looked up at the starts and said "luv you Jesus" then a second or two later she looked back up and said "luv you too" as if Jesus was answering her, it was so cute! Kids are just so loving they have an unconditional love especially at that age, I just love it!

Well my work is calling me to get back to it so I need to go! You guys have a great day and until next time God Bless you all!

I'm Trying Here

Okay so I really am trying to do better at blogging. See I'm blogging two days in a row. On the other hand I have no idea what to blog about. I guess one really great thing is that we are currently in a revival with Br. Donald Pate from Shawnee, OK this week and last night we had a wonderful service. I really needed to be revived and the Lord did not disappoint! He opened up the windows of heaven and we had a time in the Lord. Br. Pates' preaching has been wonderful, but I really needed the touch from God last night and I thank Him for it, He always supplies my needs! We also had one filled with the Holy Ghost last night, to God be the glory!

I also learned yesterday that Paydon has decided he wants to write a book. The name of his book is Pippy Dippy Do, and it is going to be a children's book about a giant. His teacher was so excited when she e-mailed me yesterday especially since Literacy isn't his best subject. Hopefully this will spark his interest in reading and writing.

Anna Claire is just my little ham. She loved shoes! When we went on vacation we found a 4 pair pkg of Disney Princess play shoes and last night after we came in from church she went and got a pair to wear while she ate her chicken. Then she had to give us all a kiss at bed time and she had to show us her happy feet dance. I tell you the older she gets the more of a ham she becomes. I guess she learns from her brother. I guess all kids at that age do all sorts of funny things from time to time and right now hers is her happy feet dance.

Well I've succeeded, I've blogged two days in a row, hopefully this is the start of something, we shall see! Hope you all have a great weekend.

This is Paydon and Anna Claire in their Easter best this year. No wonder no one ever follows my blog, I'm such a terrible blogger. I'll try to do better and blog more often.
First off there is no way I can back track almost a year and catch everyone up on my life so I'm not even gonna try. I will back up and share some highlights of our year with all those who might still stop by. I guess the first highlight was Anna Claire's first Christmas. It was fun! She doesn't remember it and I'm sure she will not remember much about Christmas this year either, but it was fun seeing her eyes light up with the sight of all the decorated trees and all the lights everywhere. I'm sure this year will be even more fun for her and us as well as she is now older and will really enjoy all that Christmas has to offer.

Then came January, the month that both of my children were born, howbeit 8 years apart! We celebrated Paydon's 9th birthday the first part of the month with a party at Pizza Hut. I learned a few years ago that with Pizza Huts pizza deals I can feed everyone pizza and be just a cheap as if I bought the stuff for hot dogs and such and the clean up is a breeze, we tip the waitress and leave and they clean up the mess---for someone his age it couldn't be better! On the 23rd of January we were not able to have Anna Claire's b-day party, which was her actual birthday, do to everyone having a conflict in their schedules, we did however have out pastor and his wife over for cupcakes and chili, I think, and Anna Claire enjoyed feeding herself a pink cupcake. She really got into it! Oh if I was only at home and could add in some pictures of her enjoying it, you'd all laugh! She had icing up her nose, gross I know, but so cute on a 1 year old!

Then came the spring, nothing I can remember there except at 15 months Miss Anna Claire finally decided it was time to take those oh so cute first steps. I jokingly called her my lazy kid because she was much later in crawling and walking that Paydon, but the her pediatrician brought a point up at her twelve month check-up with these simple words, "I wouldn't walk either is someone would carry me." Ok doc point taken, she started walking at almost 15 months. Then the fun began! She gets into everything from the toilet to the bookshelf, something Paydon never did. She is also way too smart for her age. Shortly after learning to walk she also learned that from my chair in the living room I could see her if she went into our front bathroom and soon also learned if she went to the bathroom in our room that I could not see her. She had found Paydon's battery operated Pound Puppy and decided it needed a dunk in the toilet, then when she picked it up it got her wet so she thought it had pee'd on her and she proceeded to carry it to the door and in this gibberish that no one understood began to get on to the puppy for peeing on her. Shortly after that we started shutting every bathroom door and making sure all toilet lids were down! No more giving things baths in the toilet for her!

Well now I'm on to Summer. We've had one hot summer! It has just been terrible around here, 110 one week and the heat index above that, then the humidity and it was just a nasty sticky Summer. Some good did come out of it all though. June 26th Josh and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary. We took a little mini-vacation to Little Rock the 24th and stayed at the Robinwood B&B, www.robinwodbnb.com and it was absolutely wonderful. We had the best time even though we left the kids with relatives and I missed them, Josh and I needed to time for us! Summer drudged on and then in August right before school started my wonderful boss sent us to Branson for vacation for the kids and we enjoyed that as well. We went to see the Noah musical and it was wonderful. If you ever have a chance to see any of the biblical shows at any of the Sight and Sounds Theaters I highly recommend it! It's a little pricey, but well worth it! The very next week school started and my little man entered the 4th grade!

I guess that pretty much brings everything up to date. We are all doing good and just staying very busy! Hopefully I'll blog more--no promises though!

Is it Chrsitmas Already??

Well we all know the answer to that question--Yes Christmas is here.

I guess I'll back track a little here--we had a great Thanksgiving. Anna Claire had her 9 month (she was actually 10 months) check up on November 23 and she was in the 50th percentile for height and weight. She also got a flu shot, which she actually did great with--not even one single tear. She is getting around pretty good now--she isn't crawling much, but she can sure scoot where she wants to go.

After Thanksgiving our office went on Vacation to Branson. We had a great time and really enjoyed it. Friday night we went to Dixie Stampede and it was actually very, very good. We have seen the show before, but never the Christmas show, but it was well worth the money and Anna Claire LOVED it! On Saturday we went to Silver Dollar City and about froze to death and it was much to crowded for me and Paydon didn't enjoy it either because there were way too many people trying to get around it just wasn't enjoyable at all. We did manage to see one show while there and it was a 20 minute Frosty the Snowman show, but Paydon liked it--Anna Claire slept thru it, so I guess she enjoyed it too. Sunday we headed back home, but stopped on the way at Springfield for Paydon to look around at all the animals at the Bass Pro shop there--it is huge! Paydon really enjoyed it. We then got back on the road headed home, well we thought it was the road to home, it was actually the road north and we do not live north of Springfield we live southeast of it, so after about 35 minutes we realized we missed our turn back toward home, so we spent about 35 minutes backtracking, but finally got on the correct road home. We had a very enjoyable trip, very relaxed, we really needed it too.

In other news the kiddos are both doing well. Paydon is doing well in school and Anna Claire is doing well at eating, and eating, and sleeping. She jabbers up a storm now. She will try to say Ho, Ho, Ho, but it comes out with just the "H", it is so cute though. She is growing up so fast, she'll soon be 1 year old--it is very hard to believe that time has flown by so very fast, but it has. My babies are growing up. Paydon will be 9 January 4th and that doesn't seem possible either but it is. He'll enter the 4th grade next year, *tear* I can't believe it!!

Well since it is so close to Christmas, I guess I'd better go ahead and wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! Jesus is the reason for the season! Let us never forget the First Gift of Christmas--Jesus!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FOLKS!

Hello

Just wanted to take a few moments and say hello to everyone out in blog land. Life has been great around here. Anna Claire has had a few little things we have had to deal with, thrush, colds, and the such, but she is doing better. She was doing great at sleeping thru the night, but for some reason she has recently been getting up about every 3 hours. Then if I put her into our bed she sure doesn't sleep well. So just pray she gets back to her schedule soon, because it is making me very tired.

We are also in revival with Sis. Betty Bishop this week and we had a wonderful service yesterday--the Lord really poured out his blessings on us! God is great and Greatly to be Praised. He has already do so much for me that I'll never be able to repay Him, but as the song says "Here Lord I give myself away tis all that I can do"! If you are in the area we would love to have you come out to revival--7pm 403 W Peck Road Harrisburg, AR. If you can't make it please be in prayer for each service and that God's anointing fall upon each part of the service and upon our hearts throughout the week that we could move up in the Lord.

Where has the time gone?

Boy it has been so long time since I have posted anything. After we sang thru once the Lord impressed upon me to stop and read the words of those verses. At times we sing songs without actually thinking about what we are singing. We sing from memory so to speak never stopping to think about what the song means. If we would think about the powerful words behind each song we sing what a wonderful blessing we could receive. I think that true worship begins once we stop and HEAR the words of a song and stop just singing from memory. So next time you are singing a song, take a minute to really focus on it's meaning.

Beth

“The early church fasted and prayed, today's church prays fast.” Joe Lewis

“The greatest of all disorders is to think we are whole and need no help.” Thomas Wilson

“The way to bliss lies not on beds of down, and he that has no cross deserves no crown.” Francis Quarles

“Why not get out on a limb for Jesus? I was reading today online and they were talking about what mom's really wanted for Mothers Day and none of them listed "GIFTS" but they all wanted to just spend time with their children. We sometimes get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of life that we don't take the time for the little things in life. For instance have you ever told your child it was time for bed and they asked you to tuck you in and you asked your spouse to do it so you could finish up the dishes? I know I have, but I want to cherish every minute I have with my children. They are truly a gift from God and I never want to forget that. I was reading Brother Queeners book Sunday and was reading of how he and his wife lost several children with in an hour of their birth and I thought about how horribly it would be to loose 1 much less 3 or 4. God has truly blessed me with two wonderful children and I never want to take that for granted!

I hope all you wonderful Mothers have a great Mothers Day and get to spend time with your family.

Paydon & Anna Claire

I just have a minute and wanted to put an updated picture of the kids up. I really like to blog more than I like to do Facebook, I guess in part because I can do Blogger at work and when I'm home I never have time to get online. Anna Claire is doing great! We have started her on cereal and she is doing pretty good with that. She is also sleeping great she normally only gets up once and it is about 5 or so that really isn't even considered getting up in the night if you ask me. Paydon is also doing well--he is doing really good right now with his reading. As a matter of fact he made a 102 on his reading test today. PTL. He wasn't doing too hot, but all of a sudden he has made a complete turn around. Please continue to remember my father. He is doing well, but still needs our prayers. Well I need to do some laundry so I best go. Have a great weekend! And if I don't make it back till weeks down the road "HAPPY MOTHERS DAY" to all you wonderful moms out there!

What have we been up to?

Well starting with last Thursday my father was put into the hospital after almost blacking out during a stress test. He had been having some chest pains off and on so his heart doctor recommended a stress test and some other tests. They ran a heart cath on Thursday afternoon late and it came back clear with no blockages, however they still needed to find out why he almost blacked out. So they referred him to a doctor in Memphis, TN and transported him there Friday afternoon. They met with the doctor on Friday at Memphis and he stated that he would probably need to install a defibrillator. They went in on Monday afternoon and installed that device and he came home on Tuesday. He seems to be doing good. They are worried about the hospital bills and the fact that he will not be able to continue working at his current job, but God knows all about it and God will supply the need! Just please say a prayer for them that God give them the peace that only he can. One more thing--when the Doctor in Jonesboro done the heart cath he was amazed to report that the main artery that was clogged 100% in 1999 when he had his heart attach is now only 30% blocked. To God be the GLORY!

This week we began our Youth Week and boy have we had a good time. The services have been absolutely wonderful to say the least! God has surly visited us in a mighty way. Tonight we wind down with a social at Trumann as well as watching "Facing the Giants". I've seen it before, but it's just such a good movie that you can handle watching it time after time. Then Saturday we are having an afternoon at the park with a singing and preaching. It should be a very nice warm day for that. Thankfully no rain is in the forecast. I hope all of you out there have had a great youth week as well. God bless each of you!

Hmm?

I found this article on our local news site and thought it was worth posting.

Grape juice no more: Ark. church to worship at bar

Please click on Link to read the article.

http://www.kait8.com/global/story.asp?s=10151228

I know we should take the whole message to the whole world, but we are also to abstain from the very appearance of evil. What are your thoughts?

In other news we are all doing great. We got back home from Youth Convention around 8pm Saturday and we had a good trip there and back. I was worried a little though because Ms. Anna Claire is not a fan of the car seat and the 3 1/2 hours in the car had me worried, but she did great! PRAISE THE LORD.

We had a great convention, but somehow it just didn't seem like the conventions that we used to have. I know that God has not changed, so I wonder what has changed. Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way and if so I guess it is me that has changed. Not that convention wasn't good, but people don't seem to come out as much as they used to for conventions--that goes for all conventions, not just Youth Convention. I know that money is tight and it takes extra money to travel, however have we forgotten that our Lord will take care of us if we will put him first in our life? I just wish that people could get their want to fixed. God will soon be telling Jesus to come get his Bride and I want to be ready to meet him in the air! One of these days we will witness that Meeting in the Air we have been singing about for years! Oh I want to see Him!

Well I guess I've rambled enough. I hope you all have a great week and a Happy Easter. She is a happy, healthy, beautiful baby girl who is adored by her brother and parents! She weighed in at 6lbs. 8oz and was a nice 19 inches long. We are both doing well and as a family adjusting to life with 4 instead of 3. The c-section went well and my recovery was pretty good besides some minor set backs. We went thru the worst Ice Storm in years and was without electricity for 4 day when she was only 5 days old. That proved to be hard on my nerves and my recovery. Thank the Lord on day 3 or was it day 2 we got a generator so we has some light and TV for Paydon. Also we were thankful that my parents had gas logs so we were warm the whole time! Then when she was one month old we had a pretty large snow--we've had a winter for the record books that is for sure. Other than all of that we are doing good. I am now back at work and getting back into the routine of normal life with a family of 4. I had forgotten how much work a new baby can be, but we are enjoying every moment of it! Well I've got to go---hope you are all doing well in Blog Land!

It's getting Closer!

Well--we are counting down now! Only a little over two weeks till little Anna Claire arrives. I'm getting to the place where I am a little bit miserable. I can't sleep for very long at a time and just those pregnancy pains--back ache--feet hurt--oh me I could go on, but this is such a blessing that I don't want to complain! I really don't have much to say--everything seems to be going just as planned--which I am very thankful for! My last appt my blood pressure was 114/72--it's staying lower that it was when I wasn't pregnant, which makes ma happy seeing as how I was on bed rest with Paydon for 6 weeks due to high blood pressure. This pregnancy has been so different than the first one--everyone tells you it will be that way, but we never believe it till we experience it for ourselves! Well I need to try to get to bed. I'll try to post a pick I took of Paydon and used some editing--I'm new to it so don't laugh!

Here is one more from my baby shower. I'm very excited--I've gotten my Christmast present early--a laptop with high speed internet. This will come in very handy while I'm home for the six weeks after Anna Claire gets here. Speaking of which her date is set for January 23. We can't wait! Everything here seems to be going pretty well. While it's fresh on my mind please remeber my husbands family, his grandmother passed away this evening at about 5:30. She was 90 years old and tired, and thank the good Lord she did not suffer, she went very peacfully! Josh was able to be by her side when she passed and for that we are Thankful! Well I guess I need to get off here, I just wanted to stop by while I had the chance because I'm sure the rest of the week and beyond will be busy. Please keep us in your prayers during this difficult time. MERRY CHRSITMAS to ALL!!

Happy Thanksgiving

Well I have not updated in the last several months--I've been so busy, but I don't think I can remember it all. I'll try to do the best I can.

Lets see....September--Hmm--The only thing I remember about September is a Kidney Stone. Let me just say that a Kidney Stone and pregnancy are not a good combination! I did survive, but never passed it. The pain subsided though so to that I am thankful! Also in September we found out that we are having a little girl! We are very excited about that a boy and now a girl---my family is complete! We think we are naming her Anna Claire--she will be called by both names--no Anna or just Claire--Anna Claire! Paydon has really gotten excited, however that was not the case in the beginning. He cried the first hour we knew it was a girl. He even told the Ultrasound Tech that she was not the Doctor and didn't believe it was a girl until the Doctor actually told him. He was so bummed--he wanted a brother so bad, but now he is very excited to be a big brother to a sweet little girl!

October---Hmmm--The only thing I remember is Revival with Sister Betty Bishop and our Church Harvest Celebration. We had a really good revival with Sis. Bishop--she preached some outstanding end time messages--they were great. She is such a hoot! Paydon loves her to death as well as all the children at our local church. She is just so great with all ages and can hold the attention of anyone that will even attempt to listen. We just love Sister Bishop. Also in October I failed my 1hr Glucose tolerance test--ugh that meant I had to take the 3hr test. Thank the Lord I passed it with outstanding blood readings again very thankful for that. The Lord has blessed me abundantly with this pregnancy. I hear from my co-workers and friends that pregnancy must agree with me because I look great to be now 31 weeks pregnant.

November---ok that's this month. What has happened? Not too much I guess except another bout with that stinking Kidney Stone. My OB sent me to a Urologist--they can't run any test because I'm pregnant and it seems that being pregnant is what is causing this. They did run 1 ONE X-ray and thought they may have seen a tiny stone, but they could not tell for sure! The pain surprised to I decided to forgo all the stints and such and just depend on the Lord to take care of me and then if it pops back up after delivery then they can run tests and we can go from there, but I refuse to worry about that right now! In other news, I feel like a TV reporter! Thanksgiving is tomorrow--I'll be spending that with my family and I'm really excited to see everyone! I'll be having my baby shower on the 14th of December at our local church and I'm finally getting really excited about this baby. I don't know what my problem has been, but I've just not been able to get really excited about it. I've worried so much and had so many crazy/scary dreams that I have not allowed myself to get excited. I've gotten better over the past few weeks and I'm sure as time gets closer the excitement will build. Well I really need to finish some end of day stuff around here so I best be going!

I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!

I'll try to post before Christmas

Bye :)

LONG time no post!

My oh my it has been about 8 months since I have even attempted to post on this blog. We have been very busy over the last 8 months and lots has happened. The greatest news is that Josh and I are expecting our second child January 29, 2009. We are very excited and can't wait to find out the gender of our newest addition to the family. Paydon of course is very excited and is hoping for a baby brother not a sister, but has decided that he would still love a baby sister too. I've been doing pretty good--considering. I've had a pretty bad bout with morning-evening-afternoon sickness which has not been fun, but I keep telling myself it will be worth it in the end. I've also been having some pretty bad headaches and I'm not sure why, but if you read this please pray for me that the Lord take them away. Well let's see what else has been happening. We had a great revival in April with Brother Stephen Smith and Sis Vicki Smith--They are two very dedicated people and we all felt very blessed to get to know them. They are great people who have a love like no other for God and The Church of God! We then went on to have a great youth week or was that before revival-I really can't remember but both were great! We then had a great regional convention and I hear a great Jr and Sr Camp as well! Next on our agenda The Assembly. I don't know how that will work---hmmma pregnant women, with problems with hormones, sickness, tired and an 6+ hour drive---Josh said he was going to just give me a phenigrin and tell me to sleep the whole way-boy I wish that would work! Well I guess I need to get off here and get back to work. I hope to see you all at the Assembly!

Everyone be safe and also pray for me and our choir we are on program Thursday at the Assembly. PRAYERS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

Way Past Time

Well it is way past time for a new post. I'm sure there aren't that many people out there that like to read about my boring life, but I enjoy writing about it for some crazy reason. Anyway it's been a month since my last post and things seem to be going just fine! Okay this is way off of the subject of this and that, but have you ever had those things that make you laugh, and laugh, and laugh and then every time you think about it you laugh again. Well that just happened to me there was a customer that came in our office and he was going to different places for interviews in a suit with no tie and a baseball cap. I know it doesn't sound too funny to you reading this it really was to me--but know that laughter is gone and I have a headache from the lack of oxygen from laughing too hard. Oh me sometimes little things are just so so funny.

Well let's see what has been going on around these parts? Well we had our tree of praise on December the 2nd and we all really enjoyed that--it is fun to sit back and listen to others testimony about a Christmas tree ornament. I love it. Then last night was our Ladies Church Christmas Party. We had a great time there. We had more food than anyone could eat, but we had a great time exchanging gifts and with 3 short devotionals. I really enjoy this time of year for the most part. It seems that we always have a little spat around this time of year and this year has been no exception. At times I just get so aggravated they just seem to know how to "rub" you the wrong way! I know I'm not 100% blameless, but I just hate to be in a foul mood during the "Most Wonderful Time of the Year"!

It seems that I'm running out of things to say. Oh by the way does anyone have any suggestions on how to make a 6 year old pay attention when you are doing homework. My son does pretty well in school, but hates homework and always wants to play around when it's time to focus. Hmmm--I just don't know what to do. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Well I'm sure I'll not make another post until after Christmas, so Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!!

Well I didn't put a title because I wasn't sure what to title this one. I seem to write about so much stuff that a title only tells a small portion of what I type about so I'm leaving a title off this one. Any way I hope all of you are doing well out in Blog land--I've been doing fine. Life is still busy around here and I don't expect it to let up anytime soon either. Maybe things will slow down after the first...the first of 2008 that it. You know who would have thought that after that old y2k think that we would still be on this earth some eight years later? I for one thought we would be in heaven by now praising the Saviour throughout eternity, but it's not God's time yet. But soon and very soon we are going to see the king. I want to be in that Number don't you? This Sunday night please be in prayer for me, I'm preaching for our Sunday Evening service and I want to make sure that I find the will of the Lord for the service. I assume we will have may out hunting, but God knows exactly who will be there and who will not so just say a prayer that I find the complete will of God. I want to follow Him in whatever path He may lead me. I don't want to preach my own ideals or opinions because my own ideals and opinions aren't worth much~~ we know the old saying that Opinions are like noses we all have one and I want to preach just what God would have me too.
Well I'm guessing I need to get off here--I'm posting from work--no we are not working on a Saturday, but I needed a customer to come in and sign some forms so I made arraignments to meet them here. I was 10 minutes late which they didn't care because the just used the time to run next door and get a hair cut so it worked out great. So know I'm going home to clean up our yard--it is a horrible mess!!! We had a new roof put on this week and I'm sure some of you know what a mess that is to clean up, but oh well our new roof looks GREAT!!!

Have a good weekend folks!

It's Time...

...For a new post that is. It's been a few days since I have posted and I can't say that much has really happened. Our VLB's went to Judgement House this past weekend and it was wonderful as always. I'm telling you---it may not be The Church of God, but they put this production on as close to the Bible as possible and do not try to influence you in anyway to change your religion or anything of that nature. They don't use the KJV Bible but other than that it's great. I don't know how it is in other parts of the US, but here in Jonesboro it's great.

Well our Sunday School superintendent made his appointments for the year and I'm again Young Adult SS Teacher. I enjoy being a SS teacher, but I really want your prayers this year. I want to be all that God would have me be. I want to study my lesson even more and dig deep into the word of God this year. Just not for the class, but for me, because I need it. I need to dig deeper into the word of God. I don't want to just skim the surface, but I want to dig deep into the word of God and learn all I can. I feel that there is a need to be prepared for whatever may come our way--whether it is using the word to defeat the devil or as a tool for witnessing I want to dig deep and learn what I can and hide the words of God in my heart. You know my prayer is "Jesus use me and Oh Lord don't refuse me". No matter the task at hand I want to be a willing servant to the Master and be a servant after Gods own heart. A heart that is pleasing to Him in ALL Things! I wan to be humble and mold able in the palms of God my Creator. I want Him to be the Center of my life! I want myself to fade into the background so that people can see Jesus thru me. I want the Joy of the Lord to shine upon my face---I don't want to loose the Joy of the Lord--satan would love to steal our Joy--the Joy of the Lord is my strength!!

Hmmm--Well I guess I've posted all that's on my heart. I hope that everyone has a great Wednesday Night---

Love you All and God Bless!

HELLO!

Well it's been a few days since I've posted. Not too much has changed. Still Busy with the Lords work, but what better way to be busy than working for Him. I've been preaching more here lately than I have in a while! I preached last Sunday Night and this past weekend I preached for the Morning Service. That made me a little more nervous because it was the largest number I had preached to in a LONG time, but with God's Help I made it thru. I'm really enjoying letting the Lord use me however He See's fit! I hope that makes sense? I enjoy allowing the Lord to use me--I never would have thought in a million years that God would call me to Preach, but He did and I've learned to trust Him and allow Him to guide and direct my path even though I may not understand it at times. I remember, I guess it's been about two years ago when the Lord first began to deal with me about the calling He had for me and I was so scared that maybe it wasn't really Him, the devil will lie to you ya know. I feared "getting into self" more than anything in part because of the way that I've been taught. I remember thinking that surely it wasn't really what God wanted and maybe I had just imagined it all, but then one day the Lord gave me a scripture to read and that scripture was a conformation that indeed He had called me. Still even with that I began to doubt a time or two, but again God confirmed by the way of a stranger that I had truly been called by God and not by any other means but Him! I'm not sure why I said all of that, but I'm sure God does. Maybe their is someone out there that God is calling and they are second guessing that calling I don't know, but when God called my name I had to obey--howbeit that it took me months to confirm it, but I did obey and I've had a peace about it since.

So what else is going on. As I said in my last post it's a busy time of year----Our Ol' Fashioned Day went GREAT! It was a fun day filled with Food and great fellowship. Last night we had our Band Service--we had a great time. Then Friday Night is our Youth Outing to The Judgement House. We have sort of made a tradition out of going there. It's a great eye opener especially for our Younger Youth! Want to know more about it and find one near you go to http://www.judgementhouse.org/ it's a great thing in this area and it is free--that helps when you are taking about 20+ people with you. After Judgement House the Youth are going out to eat Hopefully that is.----Then we have our Harvest Festival Saturday Night and I think it is going to be a Blast! We just had an activity director appointed and she is doing a fantastic job I'm so excited to see all the games and such that she has in store.

Well I guess I need to get back to work. Between Church, Church, and well Church and somewhere in there ranks Family and last work. Work is laid back and pretty easy for the most part, but still it's work and we are busy trying to make a hard push to end out a strong year in the insurance arena. This is a busy time for us at Church too--This past weekend was the Rice Festival and our Church sets up a booth with food and snacks for sale, oddly enough not one thing on our menu has rice in it though. (Hmmm that might be an idea for next year) Anyway we ended up raising about $1500.00 which will greatly help in paying for our insurance this year. Praise God! Well let's back track a little. Friday Night (10/12/07) we went to Little Rock to the Alltel Arena to see the Christian Contemprary group "Casting Crowns" then we didn't get home until 3am and had to be up early the next morning for the Rice Festival. Then I preached Sunday Night and then this Saturday in our Carwash for the Youth and then Old Fashioned Sunday and potluck for Pastor Appreciation Month and then the 26th we are going to The Judgement House and then Saturday is our fall festival and then November we start getting ready for the Christmas play and all that good stuff so--anyway Busy is the word!

Well I need to get back to work!

Toodles! One thing is for sure I am going to put my assistants to work this year!!! So if you are out there get ready to work!--Not too hard I don't think, but it is going to take us all to make this a very successful year. Especially the Youth Life team and the Youth Track team....I'm excited about the upcoming year and can't wait to see what God has in store for us. We've just came out of a great week and a half revival---11 Night's worth of great blessings from God. At times I thought that there was no way I could contain all that God was giving us. My cup truly ran over during this revival. God has been so good to us! Well I guess this is long enough to count as a post so I guess I better get off here so I can get back to work!

Have a great day!

Sis. Betty Bishop. My how God is blessing us! We've had so far 3 saved, 2 sanctified, 3 filled with the Holy Ghost and 1 healing. PRAISE BE TO GOD! I can't explain how great it is to see souls saved--a know so salvation. You can see it on their face when the get up from the alter--that old fashioned "glow" is all around them. One young lady last night said I'm just so happy and that it felt like a bolt of electricity had hit her and she just could not be still. Praise God for what He is doing. God so desires a vessel that is ready and willing to be used by the master. Oh how great is our God. He knows how to give good gifts to His children. God has definitely opened the windows of Heaven and allowed a blessing to come down oh how wonderful it is to feel the power of God move thru the place. I wish words could tell just how great this revival has been---we have come out every night EXPECTING a move from God and He has not disappointed us yet!

Ahh The Assembly

Ahh---it has been so long since I've posted and so much has happened. My surgery went well as far as we can tell and I truly appreciate all the prayers that were prayed.

We were able to get in a few sessions of the Assembly and boy am I thankful that I was able to attend. It was a great blessing and you could feel the spirit of the Lord moving during each session. God greatly blessed all that attended. I have thought and thought of what was my favorite part of the Assembly and I must say that of course the VLB program is always a favorite, however I enjoyed Bro. Odell's message just as well. It may have stepped on some toes, but that's okay it is time for The Church of God to BE The Church of God! We can't take the Advice to Members as just advice any longer--it's words that we should live by and take it and live it like The Church of God should!

I also enjoyed the VLB workshop. It was the first time I had gotten to attended and I'm glad I did. We have some great things coming to us from our General VLB Coordinator and I'm very excited about the work in the VLB Department this year!

Harrisburg VLB's get ready to work and win souls this year!!!

I also enjoyed all the singing and boy Mrs. Kasey Broyles did a wonderful job singing "People Need the Lord" during the Evangelism/Healing service. God has given her a wonderful voice and she's using it for him. I'm so glad to see young people using their talents for the Lord.

Well I guess that's all for now--I hope everyone had a safe trip back from the Assembly and a great Labor Day weekend.

<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5107157517009184994" style="DISPLAY: block; Suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him.
He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he
could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.
The tailgating woman hit the roof--and the horn--screaming in frustration
as she missed her chance to get through the intersection.
As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked
up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer
ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police
station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed and placed
in a holding cell. After a couple of hours, a policeman approached
the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk
where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.
He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up
behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in
front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'Choose Life'
license plate holder, the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the
'Follow Me to Sunday School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated
Christian fish emblem on the trunk. ..........

Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car."

Remember everyone is watching us.
Priceless!

Stressful Month

Well where to begin. The month of July has been a really rough month for me. I've had so much happen that I don't know whether I'm coming or going! That's not an exaggeration either. On the 8th my grandmother passed away. It was a great shock to all of us considering she'd not been sick or anything. Then the end of that week we lost a great person from our church who was 81 I think. He'd suffered for a while so we were expecting his passing and grateful that we knew he had made things right between he and Christ. Then on the 15th of July I noticed a pretty large mass in my lower abdominal area that was very sore to the touch and my whole lower abdomen was yellow from internal bleeding. (not as bad as it sounds here) I made an appointment with my Doctor and after three unltrasounds that were cery painful they found that I have a very rare endometioma. So rare that they have only seen one other patient in the whole office with this type. (I always knew I was an odd ball !) So anyway this needs to be reomoved soon. They've schedualed surgery for August 7th at 7:30 AM. I'm really scared and could really use some prayers for the next few weeks. I hate hospitals especially when I'm the patient. I'll be off work for two weeks or so I'm told and only have to spend 1 night in the hospital so that will not be too bad, but bad enough. SO if you read this before the 7th please have a prayer for me!!!

Thanks Guys and Gals!

I guess it's Time !

Well I guess it is time that I post again--I've gotten pretty relaxed about not posting, but I need to. I enjoy it when I have time, but time isn't always easy to come by especially these last three weeks. We've been really busy between church and work that we've barley had time to keep things picked up around the house--my house has been a little in disarray. Anyway I guess that's a different story---We had a great couples day--we had about 20 in attendance all together and had a great time in the Lord and also a great time of fun and games.

Oh let's see what else had been going on? I had a great birthday (6/23) my loving husband gave me a surprise birthday party although it wasn't much of a surprise considering that he's done that for the last two or three years always at the same place--PIZZA HUT--that's the only cheap place that can handle about 10-15 people and kids! We had a great time though! Then the 26Th we celebrated out 8 year anniversary! It's hard to believe that it's been 8 long tough years :) no really it's been eight years, but not long and hard--We've had our good and bad times, but the good definitely out weigh the bad.

Now on to more recent events. We just finished up our Regional Convention (Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, E. Texas) We had a great time in the Lord and a great time getting to know the Oklahoma and E. Texas people--Oh how I love to fellowship with the saints of God. We had a great time during our VLB service and we had several experiences and the Lord moved in a mighty mighty way! You could feel the power of God sweep through the place.

Now onto a little funnier story---

My son has decided he's an adult (he's really 6)--I should say maybe he is 14 stuck in a 6 year old body! HA--He's been so funny latley--This weekend he was great. He found a 13 or 14 year old girl that he just fell in Love with and I use the word love lightly here--He asked me Friday night if she was to old for him and I told him that yeah 6 or 7 years difference is a bit much. Then he wanted to know if he could marry her when he was 13---What's wrong with my son---He's already girl crazy and he's 6---dear Lord help me when he's say uh 10---He'll really be a handful then. Anyway all during the convention he thought that he had to se her at least twice every day--boy he was in heaven so he thought. He was really disapointed at the times when she didn't notice him. He made friends with a few 16 year olds and I'm not sure that's such a great Idea either. At one point he came to me and said mom I'm going with Brett--I'll see ya later--HA---He was seeing if I was really listening---yes I was and no he wasn't going with Brett!! He's been great all weekend, but he still doesn't understand that he is only SIX not SIXTEEN---Boy I'm sure I'm gonna be in trouble when he reaches those teenage years!!!!

Well I need to go--must get back to work! Hope you all have a great week!!!

COUPLES DAY

YOU ARE INVITED TO COUPLES DAY

When: June 23, 2007
Where: Harrisburg, Ar The Church of God
Time: 9:30 AM

Come expecting a great time in the Lord! It seems like this has been just a really slow week, but praise the Lord it's almost over. We had a great service last Sunday Night, it's wonderful when the Holy Ghost falls during song service and blesses and blesses His children. After service Paydon was talking to some of us and he said "I could feel something all over me from my head to my toes" we all smiles and told Him that it was the Holy Ghost and he was excited and now wants the Holy Ghost even more. He's praying about being Baptised this Sunday so if you read this before then please Say a prayer for Him. He knows he needs to and that it's something that Jesus has commanded, but he's still a little boy and a bit scared of being immersed in water, so just say a prayer that all his fears will be erased. Well I guess that's really about all I have to say. I know it's a little short, but short is better than nothing!!

Well enjoy the rest of the week and have a wonderful weekend!

Where as the time gone?

OH my goodness where has the time gone? I can't believe it's been almost a month since I've blogged. So many things have happened since May 4th that I'm not sure where to begin. The biggest news to report is that my kindergartner is now a first grader. I'll try to post a few photos later--we'll see how that works out.

Well we made it through Memorial Day weekend with no problems. We got the pleasure of spending some time with some of our wonderful church members on Sunday afternoon and they cooked a wonderful dinner for us of steak, burgers, and ribs and all the trimmings---it was wonderful!

Yesterday Paydon had a dental appointment which went very well! I've dealt with a sick boy this week and I'm ready for some old fashioned R & R. I'm sure none of that will be found, but just being home with my family is R & R.

I want to thank the Lord for answering prayers, He's always just a prayer away. Wednesday we got a call from the school nurse to tell us that Paydon was having an asthma attack and that we needed to come pick him up so I left work and rushed to Trumann to pick him up and sure enough it was pretty rough. I've dealt with that before so I didn't worry too much until he started to really complain that he was hurting bad on his right side sort of under his rib cage. He was really crying and holding his side and I was really worried that he had appendicitis. He had begun to run a fever and I didn't know what to do. I called the Doctors office, which was no help, they told me to watch him and see how he was in a few hours and it didn't get better to take him to Urgent Care. Well that didn't help me any. I called my husband almost in hysterics wanting him to leave work and come home and we both thought it was his appendix by now. I was really concerned and knew that I didn't have the money for a emergency room visit. Then God hit me upside the head, not really but should have, and told me to PRAY. So pray I did and prayed, and prayed. Then the Lord told me to sing, I Claim the Blood. So I began to sing.

I claim the blood Jesus shed on Calvary. Those precious blood stains were made there just for me. For all my sin my SICKNESS and my pain, when I need healing I claim those precious Blood stains.

Within the hour the pain was gone and he's not said anything about it since. I've passed it off as gas pains today, but why--Sometimes I think we pass healing with a well it must not have been that, and are afraid to step out on faith and claim healing, but I Claim the Blood of Jesus and believe that God healed him Wednesday! PRAISE THE LORD!

I hope you all have a great weekend! I hope that you all have record attendance in your Sunday School Class and I hope that the Lord moves and blesses your local church in a mighty, mighty way this weekend.

Fire, Fire fall on me. Fire, Fire, Fire, fire fall on me. Like on the day of Pentecost fire fall on me! Just like on the day of Pentecost fire fall on me! Talking about Fire--Fire fall on Me!

This is my prayer for you all this weekend. Dear God let the fire of the Holy Ghost fall at each of our Churches worldwide this weekend and bless Your people abundantly! Open the windows of heaven and fill Your house with your Glory!

I hope you all have a blessed weekend~~Until I type again God Bless You ALL!

Not Sure...

Well I'm not really sure what to title this, but a title doesn't mean much anyway so oh well--

Well today I was in my car eating lunch as I do most days during the week and I was at Sonic and had ordered my lunch and was enjoying that and some good clean gospel music on our local radio station. I love to people watch so I was just watching people and how they react and do and there was a lady across the way and she was just chewing this little car hop us one side and down the other. The car hop was in a state of shock and I felt so sorry for her. I know the Bible says that we can be angry as long as we don't sin, but this lady was teetering on the edge. I just hate to see people get chewed up. You know even if my orders wrong and whatever I want to always try to be nice. It's wasn't the car hops fault no matter the case and I just really felt sorry for her I guess. Let us remember to SMILE today--no matter what comes our way just SMILE and remember that someone else may be worse off than you, so just SMILE and be polite. I'm sure something has happened, but not sure what. This blogging thing can get addictive if you let it. I've noticed that it's a great way to get to know other people in the Church that live out of state. I'm sure it's a great blessing to some that are part of smaller youth groups as well! It's nice to know that there are youth in other areas that are there to help when we need them. We are not all isolated bodies, we are all part of The Church of God, The Bride of Christ!

I also need some help--I need someone that knows something about blogs to help me make mine a little more, well me. I like the template that I have, but would like something a little different that makes this my space and a reflection of me. IF you are willing to help me I'm willing to try to learn, the key there is that I'll TRY to learn. I'm not computer illiterate, but I'm sure not a genius like some of the other blogs I've seen. If you're willing to help please leave a comment and your e-mail address and I'll get in touch with you. ~~Thanks~~

What a mighty God we serve, What a mighty God we serve. Some weeks after he arrived, he had occasion to ride the bus from his home to the downtown area. When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him a quarter too much change. As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, "You'd better give the quarter back. It would be wrong to keep it." Then he thought, "Oh, forget it, it's only a quarter. Who would worry about this little amount. Anyway, the bus company gets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as a 'gift from God' and keep quiet." When his stop came, he paused momentarily at the door, then he handed the quarter to the driver and said, "Here, you gave me too much change." The driver with a smile replied, "Aren't you the new preacher in town? I have been thinking lately about going to worship somewhere. I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change. I'll see you at church on Sunday." When the preacher stepped off of the bus, he literally grabbed the nearest light pole, held on, and said, "Oh God, I almost sold your Son for a quarter."

Our lives are the only Bible some people will ever read. This is a really almost scary example of how much people watch us as Christians and will put us to the test. Always be on guard and remember (as I try to remember) that you carry the name of Christ on your shoulders when you call yourself "Christian."

Just a quick post

For complete description of materials and how to build it please refer to Genesis Chapter 5:14-16

Our Choir

I'm just trying my hand at putting pictures on this blog thing so I hope it works.

This is a picture of our Choir in Harrisburg--we got the opportunity not long ago to sing at Heaven Bound Fish House in Bebe Arkansas. Yes it is intentional. I want to also say I thank the Lord for what He is doing in out local church in Harrisburg. He's raising up a might army of young people and gleaners that desire to be all that God would have them be. It blesses my soul so very much to see our children seeking God for what they need. I thank the Lord that I can now add two more to our list of sanctified VLB's--Praise the Lord, the old man is dead! Let us all pray for these two over the coming weeks. Sanctification doesn't mean that there will be no temptation, but with every temptation you over come you will be stronger in the Lord. Resist the Devil and he must flee. I hope to soon add even more experiences to our list of Youth. I desire for each one of our VLBS to be Saves, Sanctified, Holy Ghost filled, and a member of The Church of God. Let all pray for one another this week and pray that God will continue to pour out His blessing upon The Church of God. Let's pray for our backsliding youth as well that God begin to work in their hearts and lives and save them before it's too late.

Again I say PRAISE THE LORD.

Youth Convention

I just want to start off by saying Praise the Lord for an absolutely wonderful Youth Convention! I praise God for what He is doing among our young people. God is raising up a band of young people and gleaners that desire to be used of God and are willing to surrender unto Him. The Lord moved in a mighty way--I praise the Lord for the Holy Ghost message that was given out telling us that Time is near--The coming of the Lord is closer that we can even imagine. We must work while it is day for the night is coming when work will cease. I thank the Lord for each message that was preached. Bro. Horton did a wonderful job and he blessed my soul--What have I to give was the title of his first message taken from the book of Acts where the lame man sat by the gate called Beautiful and Peter and John said Silver and Gold have I none but such as I have give I thee Rise up and walk. They didn't have silver or gold, but had something much more precious. They had the power from the Holy Ghost. I just praise the Lord for all that He did for our young people. I enjoyed getting to meet our Church members from Oklahoma and E. Texas--They are wonderful people full of power and wisdom given to them by the Holy Ghost. PRAISE THE LORD!!!!

Easter Sunday

PRAISE THE LORD is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of our Easter Sunday service. We watched the power of the Lord bring conviction to souls in need of salvation and giving many a much needed blessing. From what I hear our church was the talk of all others Sunday Night. Some even said that this was the best Easter service they had every been in. From what I hear we had the largest crowd in the surrounding areas for The Church of God. Again I say Praise the Lord. He's worthy of our praise. 93 in attendance isn't an impossible number -- see we're that much closer to 100. Lets all pray that we will see some of those that were in the alter back Wednesday and Sunday.

Often I'm reminded of this scripture; Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Sometimes we really just need to humble ourselves and pray and seek God's face then will we hear from heaven and then He will heal our land.

I praise the Lord so much for each of you that worked so hard with the choir or helping with props or whatever you did I feel blessed to have gotten to know each one of you! You are all truly a blessing to me and my family. My prayer is that the Lord will bless you and your family beyond measure.

Well I guess that about wraps up the update I hope you are all having a great week!

Don't forget we need three desserts for Sunday!

Also be thinking of how we can do a Spaghetti Supper for a VLB fund raiser.

Thanks again and God Bless!

New Blog

Well I went to update my old blog and poof it's gone. STRANGE--So anyway I decided to just make a new one and go on. I still plan to keep this mainly a VLB/Young Adult blog, but I'm sure that at times personal stuff will still drift in. I'm also planning to give weekly up dates on this and that, but no promises!

I also want to take this opportunity to give you a special invite to join us for our church services

Sunday School 10am-11am
Sunday Worship 11am-12pm (Children's Church Provided)
Wednesday Night Bible Study 7pm
Wednesday Nigh Gleaners for Children under 13 7pm

Pastor John Honeycutt

The Church of God
403 W. Peck Rd.
Harrisburg, Ar 72432

Anyway we are right in the middle of a fundraiser for our Young Adult Sunday School class and I must say that the Lord has been blessing our efforts. So far we've raised around $250.00 to use for outings for our class. I'm amazed to see people pay 30.00 + for a cake, pie, or even brownies. God is so Good. We've all enjoyed it and enjoyed watching God provide for a need.

Well I'm sure there is more to be said, but I need to get back to work. Feel free to leave comments and share things on here too. I look forward to hearing from some of my VLB's on here as well.

OH,One last thing--
We are planning an Easter Dinner following a Special Easter Service on Sunday (4/8) so please make plans to attend.

An Egg Hunt for the Children will also be hosted after the service so bring your kids and at least 6 eggs for a contest of best decorated eggs.

REMEMBER: The Joy of the Lord is your Strength.
